David Berman Developments Inc. has helped the industry manage time and resources more efficiently. The company, in 1987, was first to apply relational database power to the management of custom projects in an easily-customized off-the-shelf package called TimeWise, and has recently released TimeTo™ software for personal time and priority management. We are a Microsoft Partner Program Registered Member.

David Berman studied computer systems at the University of Waterloo and used his training in the federal government before opening his practice in 1984. While he strove to make his operation more efficient, there was no applicable off-the-shelf software solution that fit. Every package available was too limited, too rigid, too complex, or too expensive. TimeWise was developed together with Paul Gross (our chief of programming), a software engineer with grounding in communications and advertising, who accepted the role of managing the application's development.

It became obvious that other organizations could profit from its use. Requests from clients and suppliers prompted customization, new features, and then a separate organization was spun off to concentrate specifically on the software line.

Since then, TimeWise has been refined and perfected with the help of industry experts, and adapted to multiple platforms and applications. It is now the most robust off-the-shelf package of its type available today, used by federal governments, Fortune 500 companies, and small business alike.

Our firm has also developed a variety of other custom programming solutions, specializing in Web-based applications, database (FoxPro), graphics, and installation (InstallShield).

Custom software development clients include Occidental Petroleum, Intuit Corporation, the Auditor-General of Canada, ACS Inc, and Abbott Laboratories.
