TimeWise  for Windows for the Year 2000 released

OTTAWA, May 17, 1998 -- David Berman Developments Inc. has released its most comprehensive TimeWise yet, TimeWise 6 for Windows. This version of the company's award-winning TimeWise software brings new ways for TimeWise users to build profit into every job through into the next millenium.

The new features include a fully Year 2000 compliant interface, customer-defined date, time, and currency formats, complete international support, up to 99 alteration rounds (each with description, start date and due dates), enhanced status reports, redesigned job tickets, user-definable job tickets fields, user-definable units, watermarks on invoices and purchase orders (so you can add logos), expanded telephone fields in client and vendor profiles, universal client and vendor export format, job materials disposal report, report enhancements, and other improvements.

Platforms
TimeWise 6 is cross-platform compatible with the company's offerings on other platforms: TimeWise for Macintosh, TimeWise for DOS, TimeSave for Windows and TimeSave for DOS. This means that, on a capable network, users can choose the Windows, Macintosh or DOS version of TimeWise: they will interact with other TimeWise users in real time, with a common interface and common data files. Network installations can choose to mix any number of simultaneous TimeWise for Windows or Macintosh and TimeSave for Windows licenses as they need.

A TimeWise 6 for Windows license, including tracking up to 20 employees, is US$795. Current Windows users can upgrade for US$195 a license with no loss of data through a simple installation program. TimeWise Light users can upgrade to TimeWise Light 6 for Windows for $29.
