June 2/04 release
Delete Item with Notes now yields warning: If you try to delete an item that has notes, added warning dialog: "The item you are about to delete has Notes attached to it, which will be deleted also. Are you sure you want to delete the item and its notes?" (Shows the first so many characters of the Notes in the dialog that would be even better.)
Items can now be started even if they are not on today's schedule: It used to be that if you tried to use the Start command (from the Edit menu) on an item that is not on today’s schedule, you got a message saying "only items from today can be started ". Now, if you launch an item that is not on today’s schedule, the item is automatically moved to today’s schedule and is started. If you start an item that is not today, it’s agent launches just like it would if it was on today, and the item and focus gets moved to today, just like it was on today.
Flexible-dated items now land more conveniently: When you create a new flexible-item today, or change the deadline of an existing flexibily-dated item, and today's schedule already has conflicting total time, TimeTo™ will now conveniently put the item on tomorrow's list or another future day (within the parameters of its deadline).
Notes gain Select All command: Added Select All (Ctrl+A) command to the Edit menu when using Notes.
Recurring Item clarification: We fixed mislabelled radio button on Edit Item window where "Delete All Instances" should have read "Delete This Instance".
February 13/04 release
Day View: Flexible-dated items that are due today now show as black, just like fixed-date items do, so it is clear what is due today. You can still tell at a glance which items are flexible, as the flexible items say "(flexible due today)" after their title on the list.
New Item: If you create or move a flexibly-dated item, it is now placed on a future day within its date range if the current day is already overbooked, rather than always being placed on the current day.
Calendar: Bug fixed where in the final week of the calendar year, Calendar would sometimes wrongly default on launch to December of the following year rather of the present year.
Other Settings: Hide Done Items: A bug was fixed where this setting would spontaneously no longer stick.
November 19/03 release
Balance All Days:
Schedule View date headings: Date formats have been tidied up in various date formats to be formatted more pleasingly.
New item time conflict dialog: When you save a new item and it conflicts with an existing item, the dialog now tells you the time range of the conflicting item.
Variables (previously known as "macros"):
Various other improvements have been made to dialog boxes and wording throughout
the program, and to the Help.
September 24/03 release
Password Login: Made clearer, buttons simplified.
Item Titles:
Viewing Schedules: Items that are fluid, yet are due today now show in black just like items due today, so that you can at a glance differentiate the Must Get Dones from the Plan To Get Dones (you can still tell them apart, because the fluid items say (due today).
How Months appear in Dates improved: Main heading dates on Schedule Views, macros, and various dialog boxes now present the month in letters rather than as a number, thus eliminating ambiguity between, for instance, 1/2/98 and 2/1/98 and also making it more obvious when you've accidentally navigated to the wrong day.
